Hi All Some more done, the main gun has been painted and dirtied up internally and the muzzle brake fitted. The wheels have all been made up next and undercoated then it was time to start on the fenders. I have always liked Griffon etch some say its too flimsy but when its assembled its quite strong and generally its made in the same sections as would the full size item. So angle brackets both sides and 3 sections to form the main fender along with the cross braces. This is where a good etch bender is a must for the angle brackets. There are still the front and rear sections to add here. The final pic is of the gun and front upper hull in place just to show it all fits . The dio base has also been undercoated ready for painting but more on that later. Nice work on the pe, are you going to bend it up to make it look damaged?

HI Nem I may do a little on the rear and front but the sides will have the hanging plate armour so little point for the centre sections apart from the fact that I also have the full resin stowage set from 'Ledgend' to go on aswell so a lot of side damage would end up being covered anyway. Thanks for looking in and your comments. Regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All Made up the forward fenders, Im getting quite the expert making miniature working hinges now. The front upper hull and the rear engine cover has also been added the front and rear covers are still removable apart from the drivers compartment as the figure set I have the driver has no legs so cant be used on this model but the other crew can and will be. The main gun has also been fixed in place after painting around the upper hull where the mantle fits and some shells added to the racks. Still loads more etch to go on and I have included a pic of the undercoated Dio base , more soon. Hi Dave Thanks for looking in and your comments, I promise you the etch looks cleaner than it really is. On the tiny bolt heads I will use paint to stick them in place. Regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All Bit more added with the etch added the rear hooks and chain for the towing hawser then the wooden block for the jack has been added along side the wheel rack, you can also see the weld seam by the cupola. Next the tool fasteners have been added to one side of the fender the tools will still come off for painting. To come is the tools on the other side and then the hanging armour braces plus the stowage rack. more soon.
