hi all
If this is a repeat post I'm very sorry, this is my very first remote control build and I've loved every bit of it BigGrin
I'm at the stage where I'm ready to start her up, before doing so I've been reading up on how to run her in. On some website's it say's run 3 full tanks through but on others it say's 5 full tanks before doing anything with her
My question is how many tanks should I run through her?

It's really up to you, being patient with it is better than rushing your engine run in. The instuctions for the Kyosho GX21 can be found here! After I have had my engine idling for a few tanks I put my car on the track and run it around while blipping the throttle a little. And I do that for a few tank fulls before I start dialing in the engine tune.

There is always the temptation to get blastimg around the track as soon as a nitro model is complete. But careful running in will pay you back in terms of a better running engine and its longevity.

Theres no 100% correct and agreed way :)

Personally, I did two tanks at idle with a little bit of messing about with the idle speed screw.

1 tank when trying to set the Low Speed Needle on the carb, the probably 2 tanks when trying to set the High Speed Needle (found that one a little tricky).

It roughly allows you to stick to what most people say which essentially is slowly build up the amount of throttle you give the engine, and it lets you get the boring tuning bit done as well.
