Hi All More progress with the etch. The first pic shows the four brackets and rail [below in front of tank] for the Schurzen [ side skirts] you can also see the tools and rain channel over the drivers hatch. All the tools for this side are now fitted apart from the gun cleaning kit that goes on this side where the spade is on the other side. Various clips and hangers plus the auto gun carrier stand have also been added along with the stand for the hull mounted remote control MG, if your wondering at its position its placed so the hatch can be opened at its rear. the commanders cupola and other hatches have etch to be added but that will be after the main body is sprayed up also the capings for all the tool holders have to be added at a later stage.More soon. Hi All The Schurzen rails are now fitted along with all the brackets and one side of the armour plates have also gone on. The plates take a bit of work as each one has to be fitted against the last one placed and the brackets correctly lined up so they hang as they should. I should have the other side tomorrow then the first undercoat goes on. More soonm Regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi Nem and Dave Thanks for looking in and your comments, the Schurzen plates used are the ones provided with the kit but it is possible to buy the upgrade set with the plates which was the next one up from the one I got. Getting the Griffon plates would have made fitting easyer as the bracket positions would be pre marked unlike having to measure and fit each plate from the kit ones which have no markings and no measurments provided in the instructions. Hi All The Schurzen plates are now done although a little adjustments may still be needed later, next job was to fit the stowage rack to the rear deck. Now for another addition to this Dio the Legend resin stowage set yes its for the Stug 111 but still should fit ok, the pictures of the set speak for themselves and I can recommend a visit to there web site the Legend stuff is pretty amazing. Lastly the main hull and Schurzen plates with a coat of German Oxide Red. More soon. Very nice work Andy and that resin stowage set looks the biz, should be one very cool looking Stug when it's finished and I think you're doing a top job with this build.

Hi Steve Thanks for looking in and your comments as for the etch when I was cutting it out I too had concerns about its fragility but once the 3 brackets for each side are made up and the carrier bracket added it becomes very strong indeed.
