Hello everyone,

I am looking for measurements for the HMS Victory between each hull frame on the keel.

I didn't not note them at the start of my build and want to reference the measurements as I plank.
I want to keep the bulkheads in line all the way from bottom to top, and just wanted to check the original measurements.

I need the distance in red on the picture.

Thanks

Jordan

Hi Jordan, think you'll be lucky if anyone has taken these measurements but as the next best thing I would measure between the ribs on each side of the hull starting from the bow, the measurements should be exactly the same on each side and if they are then you'll know for sure they are right. You'll then have your reference measurements you can stick to as you plank up the hull.. Cool Cool

Hope this helps.

Regards

Alan

Can you not use the measurements of the frame spacing as they appear above the decks? It should be easy to work out where one of the frames connects to the keel using string around the hull. It won't be exact but it may allow you to do what you need.

Thanks John and Alan.

I have put filler blocks in, and I have measured but I just wanted original numbers. BigGrin

I know I dont really need them but just in hindsight now I want them. That is one thing I wished this Artesania Latina HMS Victory Ship Kit had, was plans.

Cool thanks for the insight and happy building .
