hi guys i wonder if one of you can help me, it says in the mag to sand part 34 to follow the line of the stern post, has part 34 got to be sanded flush with the stern, if this is the case then that negates the use of part 34 surely. i cant tell by the pictures because they dont show it clearly but if that is the case part 34 will be sanded to a wafer, would be grateful for any help.
thanks

wallace I found the same thing, what it meant I think, that it runs parallel with stern post not flush.

The stern post is not parallel to the ribs so part 34 has to be sanded back to the keel

Part 34 with the stern post in the picture shows an almost straight line, the base of part 34 must be level with the stern post and feather slightly away from it further up, this is my interpretation of it,

the stern post is the back end of the false keel yes you sand back to it that why you have a 3 sandwitch section look at TOMICS PICTURES AGAIN THE BOTTOM OF 34 DISAPIERS ,some time down the line you be fitting the true stern post to which the rudder is bolted to part of the main keel
