Hello Hans, when I was building the endeavour I cancelled after issue 100, didn't really fancy the cross section but seeing how good yours looks I kinda regret it now. Love the antique look, by the way if the canon barrels are the same as the main build brass Blackener wouldn't have worked anyway they are just brass plated. Just strips the brass off.

Thank you all for looking in and comments. They are appreciated and help when decisions need to be made.
Progress so far, all the decks fitted, all the bit and pieces prepared and then fitted barring the deck furniture. I have tried to keep the antique used look throughout the build.

Good work Hans. I like the 'old/used' look you are achieving on her.

Thanks for looking in. It is mostly a trial and error build but enjoying it thoroughly, a great learning curve.

Hi Hans,

To be honest I haven't touched either the San Francisco or the Sovereign for some time now, although I'm beginning to get the "itch" backBigGrin
I've been busy on a diorama for the last few months, collecting, building, painting etc. Incidentally, I've found some miniature LED's that are dimmable. Thought of your Victory when I bought them. They measure about 1mm. I have built a street light 1/35 scale and got the light working. See the pic. Got another 3 lights to fit somewhere.

Anyway, good to hear from you,
Speak to you soon,
Steve

Wow that is some work there Steve. Have you put up a build diary? I think a visit is in order sometime. That looks really great. Let me into the secret where you bought the leds.

Hello all, have been off line for a while but am back in the saddle again. A small update to show the internal furniture, ballast etc. Need to do a few more items, like staircases and a few more details. The basic mast is complete now needs the shrouds and sails and will be adding the deck furniture.
