I could resist no longer I have subscribed to this kit as my mp4/4 is coming to an end and my mp4/23 will finish shortly after. I am looking forward to getting my first pack, not sure when that will be. But I might stash a few packs before I start especially as it will be used so might not even open the 'display' wings issues. I know its a long way off but when I have finished and it comes to the 'extension' issues will they get automatically sent or will I have to ask for these when I get to that stage?

I'm really looking forward to getting my teeth into this one as although I am enjoying both the McLaren builds rc as always been 'my thing' and have years of rc experience to put to good use, although ic is new to me as I have always been into electric in the past. This is definitely going to be a 'use' rb7 so might be thinking of some spare parts to keep. Can anyone recommend which packs (as I understand that you cannot back order issues on their own) would be handy to have from a spares point of view?

Yes, you cant order individual issues, but entire packs.

To be honest you could easily have the need for an entire second car in spares seeing as this isn't something you can just get parts from the local hobby shop. Once DeAgostini stop selling this you're **** out of luck for spares :( . After one crash into a curb I broke my lower wishbone and would have broke my front wing (if it was attached) so that's pack 1 and 2.

Could probably do with a spare diff for the front and rear incase they ever get damaged (no idea of packs)

Worth picking up an entire spare set of wheels too as eventually the tires will expire

Then maybe sensible to have all of the wheel linkage parts (bits that do the toe angle, steering etc).

As I said, just order a second subscription! haha

Like you say and extra kit would be handy. I don't think the wife would be too happy about me ordering another 1! I think I might just see how I go and if it got to a point where I cant get the part I need then that will be the time where it will become a display model. Maybe i'll see as I'm building it which will be the best parts to reorder.
