This is a small and quick build that should be completed in 2-3 weeks. My girlfriend loves the old Minis so I'm building this one for her. The plan is to add a driver and co-driver figures and put this on a small diorama placing it during the Monte Carlo race this car won in '67. At this point in the build I have the engine build up, dirtied and installed onto the chassis, together with front and rear suspension and wheel hubs. Some weathering will be applied later. Even though it's a simple kit, there is some clever engineering and the parts fit perfectly the usual Tamiya way. The radiator: And the wheels painted with Alclad aluminum: Thanks for looking in :) Any images I post on my personal builds are free to be used and shared under Creative Commons Attribution license, which means you can do what you want with them, on the condition you mention I'm the author.
Happy building :-) http://www.model-space.com/gb/
