Built some time ago and needed repairs to the bridge laying cables. I originally displayed it without a base which placed too much strain on the white metal cable joints. I overcame the problem by building a canal side base for it and using brass pins inserted into the ends of the bridge to support it's weight.richmal attached the following image(s):
