Dragon's 'Black Label' kits have been criticized for being under engineered and overpriced. However if you want a model of the Conqueror MkII tank the two current options are either this one or a far more expensive resin kit. I found this model both affordable and giving an acceptable look of the vehicle. I am happy with the end result. Comments in either the negative (I'm not easily offended ) or positive are all welcome. richmal attached the following image(s):

Nice finished model Rich, I like it I like the subtle weathering too, very easy to go OTT on armour (like I do) Steve

I'm not a fan of too much weathering since I can't quite get the hang of the subtle tones needed to get it to look right. One thing I am aware of after 25 years serving on British Armour is that, apart from some of the really muddy training areas, most vehicles don't have time to rust (cleaned/repaired after every exercise and normally repainted at least twice a year) and if operating in a normal environment dust rather than mud tends to cover the vehicles.
