Hi All, BigGrin

Took the 50 minute drive to Rutland Waters today for the Vulcan flypast.

Having studied the route map, took up my vantage point on the south shore to the east of the church at Normanton.

Estimated time of arrival was 13:00, so arrived at 12:00 and set up ready.

Thought I`d give you a few pics of Rutland Water while I waited as actual arrival time was 13:20.

The early pics have a description bottom left, but after that the pics speak for themselves.

The last pic shows I wasn`t going to miss anything if I could help it.

Thanks for the comment Steve, Rutland Waters is a wonderful place. You can walk, cycle (bikes can be hired), sail, windsurf, kayak, fish (boats can be hired if you don`t mind deep water).

Here`s a link to show you what`s around, there`s something for everyone.

Rutland Water - a full day out

Hi Martyn, BigGrin

News is that there is another planned weekend of flyovers at the end of October.(Don`t quote me on that though).

You may be lucky then. BigGrin
