tigerace wrote:hi all thankyou for your input,as anyone had problems with missing part`s with this build? as i`m missing some key parts in 16, 17 and18 have emailed deag but no response as yet Great work so far :) I checked my parts and found I was missing the short planks from issue 17. Contacted customer support and they sent out a replacement pack 5, unfortunately the sent the pack 5 from the 12 month subscription so I got a pack containing issues 33-40 :( I'm still waiting for a response to my e-mail about it.

Hi Tigerace Sorry to hear about the missing parts, sometimes phoning CS gets a quicker response than the e-mail route. Looking good, I hope that you havent glued those lift boxes in place yet as instructed by the instructions,if you take a look here although Im sure you have already found it Yaturo gives some insights http://forum.model-space...aspx?g=posts&t=4185
I am now in the position to finally finish my Akagi and will be continuing my diary shortly, although I have now opted for the sealed flight deck and it will have a proper wooden deck added. Regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Great build so far! Will any of the detail of the lifts be seen on the final model? As i understand it, there has to be some platform the lift is lifting (?) - which would cover all the parts at the bottom? Greetings, Walter
Present builds: Revell B-24D Liberator 1:48
On the shelf: Italeri "Fiat Mefistofele", Italeri "Moto Guzzi California", Fokker "Red Baron", Revell Bismarck, Revell Tirpitz, Arab Dow, Stage Coach, .....

thanks Chris and thanks Walter has i`ve not received any of the decks etc i don`t no how i`ll display the lifts would be a shame not to show at least one of the lift`s internal detail though COMING SOON =1/72 Italeri diorama`s Battle for the Reichstag and Stalingrad battle at the tractor factory 1/16 Trumpeter King Tiger with loads of extras ON THE GO= refurbishment of 1/25 Tamiya tiger 1 , amt Star trek kits and space 1999 models

Hi Tigerace Sorry to butt in and jump your diary but I can tell you about the lift machinery and how it can or cant be seen. If the decks are left removable and the lifts are in line with the flight deck or mid deck then the machinery will be seen when you remove the flight decks and top inner deck parts. If the lifts are left at the very bottom or in line with the lowest deck then it will cover the machinery. hope this helps.
