hello everyone

does anyone know where i can get any micro masking tape for the barrels please

your best bet will be to cut regular tape to size, that way you can get shapes and angles right as well

um try ebay!

i actually brought .5mm wide masking tape from ebay

was a mistake i thought it was 5mm but oh well lol.

ronnie go to www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk they sell rolls of trimline under trimline on there website in various colours including black hope this helps ian

hi ronnie i came up with the idea of using normal black insulation tape think it is about 20mm wide i stuck a length on to a piece of white melamine so it is easy to peel off i cut a 1mm strip either side of the tape with a steel rule and sharp blade it worked fine reguards BigGrin

i used tamia masking tape then painted the lines in ...tamia tape gives a nice clean line (no furry edges like ordinary masking tape).
