BigGrin Hi All
I have managed to glue & Pin the Lower deck OK .However I had a bit of difficulty with driving the pins . I used a small nail punch and a tack hammer and eventually got them all in without bending, but it was not easy .Is there a better tool available for driving these Pins?

Cheers WolfskinConfused Confused

Hi Wolfskin, personally I tend to predrill any pinholes, it makes the job a lot easier and the pins are not likely to bend so easily. I also use a small pair of long nose pliers to hold the pins and a small hammer, find it easier than using a pin pusher... Other modellers will have their own preferred methods of course.... Cool Cool

Hope this helps.

Regards

Hi wolfskin...I agree with my fellow shipmates and am glad you were able to get sorted...I personally pre-drilled then inserted the nail into the hole making sure that it was straight then used a pin pusher and light hammer to drive the nail home...Good luck with your build. Will you be making a build diary??
Regards...Jonny
