Anyone out there on the forum building or has built a MFH 1/12 or 1/20 scale kit? I just bought a 1/12 Ferrari 126C4 (is a new model) as the price has dropped on these, and any good info from this forum would be very helpful. Still not cheep but about 40% less on what they where asking for a 1/12 kit. Some great detail on these and the car has always been my favorite looking Ferrari F1 car of all time!!! Thanks, Rob

MFH kits are not aimed at the first time modeller and would be better to cut your teath on a few other kits before tackling an MFH kit.

Well maybe this will explain. Who said I was a first time modeler?

I don't know but I wouldn't consider my Tamiya Williams FW14B a first timer's result even though it was 20 years ago....(wow has it been that long). Anyway its too late now...The MFH Ferrari 126C4 is in the house!! Again any info or knowledge on these amazing kits would be helpful instead of what appeared to be some condescending comments. Maybe you don't think I built it (the Williams) or maybe you can't see the pics or maybe you just think it sucks.... I thought this forum was about helping and encouraging each other and learning about this great hobby. Anyway I did not put my "rank" (which seems a little odd anyway) on my info ...you guys did. Maybe you just don't want me around.... Sorry, just trying to learn!!

Hi Rob Nice Kit I have a different MFH Ferrari to yours on order should get for xmass time, namely the 1:12 Ferrari 312F1-67 Ver.A. Its a two option kit so theres a choice of parts for each version and also a driver figure is included. Il look forward to your diary if you decide to post it on here. Regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

The comment is useful info for the novice builder that might be thinking of taking on such a kit as they are far from being easy kits to build. It was not intended to infer that you are a novice builder, but in fact the way your post was worded might suggest such. As for not replying your Williams photo post, I am a very busy man and had not yet got around to it, and would be ignorant of you to suggest that I think your build sucks! Forum rank is determined by the forum system rather based on number of posts made, the more posts you make increases the rank. It seems you are a little touchy about your rank title suggesting that you are a 'beginner'. Unfortunately the rank system is something that all members have to go through, which if you are unhappy about and want increased to a higher level such as elite etc, the only way to do this is to make more posts.

Andy, Make sure you order the version you want because if yours is like mine it will only have one version in the kit. My 126C4 comes in 2 versions as well (A&B) but in looking at mine last night it has only the A version parts, which is the one I want to build....I thought the kit was a pick which one you want to build deal but that is not the case with my model. The model is AMAZING!!! The carbon fiber decals are textured... like 3D. The whole thing is just on another level!!!! My Dremel tool is going to get a real workout. Happy Modeling! Hi Rob Now that's a cool car, very nice work. As far as I an aware its only decals [car numbers] and nose cone shape the distinguish the two cars and both are included according to the site blog. I think the Cris Amon figure is included with this kit but Lorenzo Bandini is also available as an add on if wanted. Here's a link to the kit, http://www.hiroboy.com/1...Kit--product--7900.html
As for the detail you mention we think Tamiya and other main stream kit makers are doing some amazing kits at the moment but MFH just take it beyond belief just the little things like the textured decals are a step upwards. Have fun with your build and im sure that there will be some more impressive encounters as you build the kit.
