Here`s the next update. I must say i really don`t like to work with epoxy-glue - you have to be so very careful not to produce a big mess. For me it`s impossible to work as tidy as i would like to.
Walter[/size] I had the same problem until i stopped using the provided applicator. Toothpicks or pieces of wire seem to work much better.

I already work with toothpicks - it`s better, but still not easy to handle!

Walter Great work, you have inspired me to order the D51 . Will be a change from working on n gauge railway layouts. Your photographs are first class and supplement the official build diary superbly different angles help immensely on how things go together. Keep up the good work i will be back to see the progress. Regards Steve

Hi guys and thanks for your nice comments! I must say, i´m not fully satisfied , how this build works out - mostly because of the mess, the epoxy-glue is causing despite very careful work. I wish i had an airbrush - maybe i would have decided to paint this model - i think it would have been the easier solution after all!
But of course - from a distance of at least 20 cm the build looks good.
So here are my pics of the next stage. I worked ahead a little bit as i fixed the cabin and the rear parts to the main engine a little bit earlier.DaDokta attached the following image(s): Greetings, Walter
