BigGrin Hi All

The first thing that you see is this huge box with a colour picture of the Riva on its stand when this is removed a large sturdy cardboard box is revealed containing 2 boxes, several layers of laser cut ply in Mahogany/pine, strip wood again in mahogany and bass wood, a bag of smaller wood parts, a sheet of etch and 5 full size plans along with two instruction books.
The instructions are nice and clear and have a separate update section along with the clear full size plans. All the ply parts are crisply laser cut and neatly packaged in there own bag, the strip wood is packaged in the usual way and all looks good quality. The sturdy plate of etch has all the bling on it for the hull.
Inside the 1st box there are all the chrome fittings for the deck and the general fittings for the static version. The second box has the seats and surrounds in moulded white rubber along with the pre-bent windscreen frame and pre-cut clear screen.
All in all a very impressively packaged kit that has some very nice parts included in it and should be a dream to build.

Regards

Thanks for sharing, it does look like a nice build. I always liked the look of those boats with the Mahogany.

BigGrin Hi Roger

The review dousnt do the kit justice to be honest its a well thought out and packaged kit and the boat in real life has some high fallooting fame aswell . The Riva stared in a James Bond film [ Think it was the one when he is in Venice] and as mentioned elsewhere on the forum Mr Lamborghini had one of these built with two Lamborghini engines squeezed into the stern. The finish will also take some doing to get that glass like look but will make it a stunner.

When are you planning to start this build?
I also have one on the way to me, I'm picking her tomorrow from the Parcelforce depot - what do you think about doing it as a mini-group build? Cool

Happy building :-)

BigGrin Hi Michu

Thanks for looking in as for starting her it wont be untill the new year or later as I need to finish the Akagi then the Agamemnon before I think about this build. Could make it a group build but not for a while my friend.
