I can't believe that I haven't posted in almost a year. Almost time for the USGP again. Anyways, I just finished Pack 20. The car is really coming along nicely now. One more pack and I could technically start it up, albeit with no servo based throttle control. Maybe I could run a few tanks in to set the idle screw :) Here is a pic:

Speaking of fuel, anyone have any suggestions on which Nitro fuel to get with the stock R5 plug. I was thinking 20% would be a good happy medium, but what are you guys running?

15-20% is fine, but remember that that higher % you go, the faster the wear of the engine.

I just saw something in the official build diary that I didn't do because it wasn't in the magazine instructions. When installing the clutch bearing, the magazine just says to put grease on the bearing after you slide it on to the shaft. In the build diary you put grease on the shaft and the outside of the bearing. Will I have a problem if there is no grease on the shaft itself as well?
Thanks.

I'm sure the grease on the outside of the bearing will be fine, i'd say the grease will make its way onto the shaft as well anyway.

Almost done with the running body. Still need to paint the front wing stays and the rear tyre aero components as well as the running rear wing and bargeboards. It is coming together nicely. I have the 2 speed gearbox on the way from the UK as well. It will be fun to finally run it with the body on it!

All done with the Running setup. I finished the decals for the display body as well. making sure it is good and dry before clear coating then its all done. I do have the extension on its way as well. Here is a video of a test drive yesterday. I was being very cautious, as the road was too narrow to not accidentally hit a curb. I will take it to a big parking lot soon to open it up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ufo64mN3kqY

Thanks y'all. I will take some good pictures for the finished build gallery once I have the 2 speed in and the display body clear coated.
