Hi folks

got this far (never thought I would) It's the difficult bit next planking the bottom of the hull. a little bit daunting never done this before. I probably will have to order extra planking form somewhere bound to cock it up somewhere.

Thanks for all the advice from the forum got me where I am now.

Ah well on wards and upwards or should it be on wards and Downwards.

I was terrified when it came to do the planking on my Trinidad. Just take your time and follow the instructions, keep test fitting, I found I hadn't faired the hull enough in a couple of places this way as a result lots if little adjustments were needed.

It did take a long time but it would be worth it in the end, good luck Cool

Terry, good advise as above, remember you will have to start to taper soon.(become narrower towards both ends)

Hi Terry, lovely work and very well done..Cool Cool All good advice given previously and I would add, keep a close watch on Mr T's Official build for planking the lower hull, lots of great tips there to keep you right. It would also help you to watch the Official Video build as your progress, it covers this area and will keep you right..

Hope this helps and remember, you know where we are if there is anything you're unsure of. Good luck, am sure you'll do a great job....Cool Cool

Hi Terry

Looks real good so far.

I would concur with Dave and make sure the fairing is good. I spent 2 weeks on this, building up gaps, rubbing back where necessary and continual test fitting. Remember, the planks are just a thin skin and will show up and problems with the ribs.
