I have just made two big ticket purchases, this and a Trumpeter 1/16 Trumpeter Pz.kpfw IV Ausf J as a kind of welcome to batchelor life LOL

I will just leave this here for now until I get the time to do some in box pictures, the box is full and there is 11 PE frets inside Blink

A second picture to show a possible 2016 build of the year idea I am toying with.

Great purchase... I was thinking about getting this transport as well but then I'd have to get an Abrams M1 to put on it, that's the only option for me - and it's a lot of money all together. Still, maybe something worth considering as an Christmas gift for myself?

Looking forward to your build!

Thanks for all your comments BigGrin

I took some pictures today of the box contents. To say there is a lot of plastic is an understatement Blink

I have not opened all the sprues just due to the amount there is, however I managed to get some pretty decent pictures of them using my phone.

I couldnt see any flash on any of the parts what so ever.

There is 5 sheets of photo etch for the truck and 6 sheets for the trailer, oh and lots more on way BigGrin

This will certainly build into a fantastic looking model but will take a bit of time to complete.

Thanks Alan,

Space isn't going to be an issue after the separation BigGrin not to mention my bench moving from a cold garage (in the winter) to a nice warm spare room Cool

I am toying with the idea of this being my 2016 build of the year but still to make a final decision

That looks like a fabulous kit Dave and sooooo much detail included that I reckon ModelSpace should create a Blue and Maroon 'Distinguished Service Order' (DSO) medal and award it to you just for taking this on!? Blink Wink ThumpUp

I would keep it for your 2016 'Build of the Year' entry mate as I think it's going to take you all of next year to build it!! Laugh Blink Blink

I'll happily take that award, especially when you see what else I have coming, I will be loading this with even more etch, or will at least try LOL

Hi Mick, I think the Doobi will be going on the back, the big ed kit just arrived for that, the rest of the etch for truck and trailer should be here end of next week BigGrin. My last big blow out for a while as things will be tight.

Hi Dave, this one I will be definitely following, I have been looking myself on that model. In fact it's on my wish list so someone from my family can pick it as my xmas gift... ;-)
