Hi All! I have started my next building. I selected 1/350 plastic kit of "U.S.S Enterprise NCC-1701" from polar lights. Lighting kit, photo etching parts and decal set for original kit are used for enhancement. I'm very glad that there is such a optimum forum for my Enterprise building diary in Model Space. 1st step, I built a hanger deck. For painting the hanger deck's parts,I had to refer to one scene from STAR TREK TV program, "Journey to Babel". And 2nd step, I built a bridge with my original enhancement. 1/350 IJN sailors dolls are remodeled to STAR TREK members in the bridge. Best Rgards, Yutaro Yutaro HONMA attached the following image(s): DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI. Hasegawa Co. 1/350 Battle ship NGATO, 1/350 Aircraft carrier Akagi, Battle ship MIKASA. Water line series 1/700 Battle ship YAMATO, HIEI, YAMASHIRO, Aircraft carrier HIRYU,TAIHO, Heavy Cruiser Myoukou, Ashigara, Nachi, Haguro & others.

Some nice work there Yaturo, love the hanger deck with the lighting, that looks like a very real photograph and the bridge is going to look very cool with the figures included - well done
I know you love building model ships but I didn't know you liked 'space' ships as well?!

Hi Kev! Thank you for your prompt comment on my first post. U.S.S ENTERPRISE NCC-1701 is a special space ship for me. STAR TREK (TOS) was one of the very popular TV program in Japan. I watched it when I was a primary school pupil. I read all the eleven STAR TREK novels written by James Blish who was a science fiction novelist in UK. There was a plan of USS ENTERPRISE in those books. I used to make a model of it with paper. Best Regards, Yutaro PS My third picture in the 1st post is a real scene from TV. Yutaro HONMA attached the following image(s): DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI. Hasegawa Co. 1/350 Battle ship NGATO, 1/350 Aircraft carrier Akagi, Battle ship MIKASA. Water line series 1/700 Battle ship YAMATO, HIEI, YAMASHIRO, Aircraft carrier HIRYU,TAIHO, Heavy Cruiser Myoukou, Ashigara, Nachi, Haguro & others.

Hello Yutaro,
Yes, Star Trek is a very popular TV series around the world with a huge 'cult' following! Those old Star Trek books in your photos look very interesting and that's a very useful plan of the U.S.S. Enterprise - do you still have the paper model you made of it Yutaro?
PS - You should have kept quiet about your third photo, I was convinced it was your model after seeing what you did with your recent Akagi 'cut-away' model, which I thought was superb by the way and very skilfully built?!
