This is a little card model of a train station in Z scale, which is 1/220. It's made by a Japanese company called Sankei.
You can find their stuff on Amazon, eBay and HLJ.
The quality of the laser cutting is just amazing. Sankei's kits aren't cheap, but they are very high quality.
No painting is required as the card stock is coloured all the way through. The pattern of the roof is very nice quality ink jet printing which isn't affected by water so you can use a bit of water to clean up some white glue that might have seeped on to the top surface.
The last picture is on my hand to show just how small this thing really is! It's 92mm long.
Definitely very different!

Cheers, Gord.

BigGrin Hi Gord

These card kits take me back to when I was a youngster making buildings for my Fathers railway, but these are a step up in quality and scale, a nice find.

That looks superb Gord and beautifully printed in such a small scale?! I'm always amazed at how some of today's card models turn out and they look so realistic too? Blink Blink

Thanks for posting this! Drool Cool ThumpUp

Wow that's pretty impressive! I thought it was bigger than it was until I saw the picture of it in your hand. Quite an impressive level of detail too, awesome work ThumpUp ThumpUp
