And now for something completely different:

In keeping with my theme of buying kits that are really different from what I'm used to, here is a Nano Block kit of a German castle. The scale is 1/220 and is made by Kawada.

Now to the most important part:

5800 pieces!

Once I saw the part count I knew it had to be mine...

Bought it on eBay for $200us with free EMS shipping from Japan, I received it in 3 days!

The kit comes with 3 LED bases to light it up. The blocks are just like Lego but much, much smaller, see the pic with the penny in it to give some idea just how small these blocks are. Good thing I've got 4X reading glasses!

Absolutely no one I know is remotely interested in this, so I gotta share it with everyone here.

5800 pieces! How could I not buy it? It's my duty to buy it!

Now for the pics:

Cheers, Gord.

Now that's an interesting kit, brings back memories of my addiction to LEGO when I was a kid, lots of time spent counting dots to make sure parts were in the right place Cool

It's great to see something different and hope you consider showing your progress Cool

Wow, that's an interesting kit.

While there's no Neuschwanstein kit from LEGO as far as I know, they DID build a 1:30 scale model out of 300000 blocks for their theme park.
