Received my replacement Pack 18 today - NO booklet and NO Side stand - in fact the contents are identical to the original shipment Angry

Glad to hear Nemesis got his pack 17 sorted.

My pack 18 replacement also arrived without the booklet and side stand again, looks like someone in C/S will be getting an ear bashing from me tomorrow Angry

Looks like Quality Control needs looking at - especially since the replacement packs are being shipped in the same state as the original. Did no one think to check that a replacement for missing parts actually had the missing parts or wonder why there's a pile of Pack 18 booklets and side stands sitting in the warehouse?

Well after two emails to CS not responded to I rang them up. Quality of the line was again terrible but from what I could make out I was told:

"I'll escalate it further to someone who might be able to help but we won't be replacing Pack 18 again we'll just send out the missing parts." But as she had difficulty understanding the words booklet and side stand (probably my Scottish accent BigGrin) it will be interesting to see what if anything arrives.

Three questions:

1. Al how did you get on with CS?
2. Is anyone else having this problem?
3. Can Admin clarify what's happening about the missing booklet and side stand from Pack 18?

Regards
Graham

Hi Graham, had similar language barrier issues and also told I would just be getting the missing parts and booklet in the usual 14 day timescale so will probably get them around pack 19s arrival hopefully.

Frustrating realy that they got a huge pile of stands and books that no one at all building this model has recieved and no alarm bells started ringing but instead of just sending them out in a future issue you have to get in touch if you want them.Going by what others have said I have not been in touch yet because it seems hit and miss with the replacement pac.

Hi Nemesis,

I wouldn't hold your breath - still waiting for Booklet 18 and Side stand after having two packs delivered without it.

Hi Sam,

My front cowl has the same mould line and if you look closely at the Official Build Diary pics you can see it there too. Don't think there's much point in asking for a replacement as it looks like they are all the same - unless I'm told that's not the case and there is a bad batch.

Hi Guys, as Tomick said earlier the booklet is being sent out as a separate item so you should at least give it the full 14 days for it to be delivered. Remember also the postal systems are in the hectic throws of the xmas rush so I'd give it an extra couple of days....
