Issue 1

Parts content:

Nose
Lower grille
Bumper
Headlights
Front license plate
2.3x3mm screws
2.3x4mm screws
2.3x6mm screws
1.2x3mm screws

Mount the lower grille inside the nose and align the holes at either end of the grille with those in the nose.
Take one of the 2.3x3mm screws and place it in one of the holes at the end of the grille, lightly tighten with a screwdriver, being careful to keep the holes at the other end aligned. Then secure the other end of the grille with another 2.3x3mm screw.

Hold the bumper in front of the nose, align the projections with the holes, then carefully push the bumper in place, (verify that the bumper is mounted properly by making sure that its central section aligns with the corresponding section of the nose).
Now take one of the 2.3x4mm screws, lightly tighten it into one end of the bumper, then secure the other end with another 2.3x4mm screw, then fully tighten both screws.

Take the right front headlight (marked R), push it into the hole at the right end of the nose. Insert it from the front, so that the hole in the headlight is aligned with the hole in the rear of the nose. Secure the headlight with one of the 2.3x6mm screws.
Now take the left front headlight (marked L), insert it into the hole at the left end of the nose, and secure with another 2.3x6mm screw.

Mount the licence plate over the holes in the central section of the nose, then secure it with two 1.2x3mm screws, being careful not to overtighten them.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a labelled bag.

Issue 2

Parts Content:

Front Wheel
Front Tyre
Steering Knuckle
Brake Disc Shield
Brake Disc
Brake Caliper
Wheel Cover
Shelby Logo
1.2x3mm screws
2.3x3mm screws
Screwdriver

Soften the tyre using a hair dryer to apply a gentle heat to make it flexible enough to fit easily onto the wheel (Do not overheat the tyre, which can warp it permanently – it needs just a little heat to soften it), then fit it onto the wheel while it is still warm ensuring the tyre is seated properly and evenly on the wheel all the way around on both sides
Leave the wheel and tyre to one side to allow the tyre to cool and harden.

Take the steering knuckle and brake disc shield. The two studs on the brake disc shield are different sizes, this will ensure they are fitted together correctly.
Now hold the brake disc with its flat side facing the knuckle and disc shield assembly and fit the two together by pushing the spindle through the hole in the centre of the brake disc. The disc should rotate freely on the spindle.

Slide the brake caliper over the brake disc in the recessed area of the shield aligning the holes of both, then secure the parts together with an 1.2x3mm screw. The disc should be held in place by the caliper, but it should still be able to rotate freely.

Insert the brake disc assembly into the inside of the wheel, rotate the assembly until the lug on the wheel fits into the corresponding notch in the brake disc. Insert an 2.3x3mm screw into the hole in the centre of the wheel and tighten the screw into place while holding the brake assembly in position.

Take the Shelby logo wheel cover and fit it into the centre of the wheel.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a labelled bag.

Issue 03

Parts content:

Intake Manifold
Left Rocker Cover
Right Rocker Cover
Air Cleaner Base
Air Cleaner Element
Air Cleaner Cover
Carburettors
Rocker Cap
2.3x4mm screws
2.3x3mm screws

TIP: When ‘right’ or ‘left’ are referred to during assembly, they always mean right or left as seen from the driver’s point of view; that is, if you were sitting behind the steering wheel, ‘right’ would be the side to your right and ‘left’ the side to your left.

Identify the front of the manifold so that you can easily identify the manifold’s left and right sides and the place the left rocker cover and the right rocker cover alongside the manifold.
First mount the left rocker cover by placing it over the two screw holes in the manifold.
Turn the manifold over and loosely secure the left rocker cover with two 2.3x3mm screws, tighten the first screw halfway, then do the same with the second one. Finally, tighten both of them fully.
Now place the right rocker cover into position on the manifold, then fix the right rocker cover to the manifold with two 2.3x3mm screws, as you did with the left cover.

Now fit the air cleaner element into the groove of the air cleaner base.
Turn the air cleaner base around, so that the side with the two pins is facing towards you. Take the air cleaner cover and hold it with the COBRA lettering towards the left and place the cover onto the cleaner.
Turn the assembly over, and secure the parts with a 2.3x4mm screw, inserted from below.

Take a carburettor (note that one end is shorter than the other, and that its underside has two small projections) and place it onto the intake manifold by fitting the pins into the corresponding holes of the manifold, with the shorter end facing towards the front of the manifold.
Fit the second carburettor in the same way with the shorter end also facing towards the front of the manifold.

Now mount the air cleaner onto the manifold by inserting the two cylindrical projections on its underside into the holes in the carburettors with the word Cobra on top of the air cleaner assembly towards the front of the Manifold.
Turn the assembly over and secure the air cleaner with two 2.3x4mm screws.

Finally, place the rocker cap into the hole in the left rocker cover.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a labelled bag.

Issue 04

Parts content:

Grille
Shelby Logo
Right Fog Light
Left Fog Light
Hood
2.3x3mm screws

Hold the grille with the two small holes on the left.
Using tweezers, line up the pins on the ends of the Shelby logo with the two holes in the grille then insert the pins of the logo into the holes in the grille. Push them in until they project slightly from the rear of the grille.

Hold the grille behind the nose assembly from Issue 1, with the Shelby logo facing forward. Align the holes at the side of the grille with the two holes in the nose, then fit a 2.3x3mm screw through the hole at the right-hand end of grille and into the hole in the nose lightly tightening it.
Use another 2.3x3mm screw to secure the other end of the grille lightly to the nose.
Turn the nose around and check that the bottom of the grille is in contact with it and tighten the screws fully when you are happy it is in the correct position.

Identify the right fog light, which is marked with the letter R. When viewed from the side, the rear of the fog light is angled.
Place the right fog light into the right-hand hole in the grille, with the screw on the rear of the light positioned at the top.
Place the left fog light, which is marked with an L, into the left-hand hole in the grille. Position it, like the right fog lamp, with the screw at the top.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a labelled bag.

Issue 05

Parts content:

Left Seat Back (Rear)
Left Seat Back (Frame)
Left Seat Back (Front)
2.3x4mm screws

Before starting the assembly of the left seat backrest, locate the four holes on the reverse of the seat back rear. These holes will take the screws that will secure the seat back frame.
Place the seat back frame onto the reverse of the seat back rear aligning the screw holes in the frame with the corresponding holes on the seat back rear and press the two parts together (the three raised holes of the seat rear should project through the frame).
Before fitting the screws, make sure that the two parts are flush along the edges, then take one of the 2.3x4mm screws and place it in the top right hole.
Place three more 2.3x4mm screws into the three remaining holes. When all the screws are in place, tighten them with a screwdriver.

Now take the seat front and locate the three pins, these will fit into the three raised holes in the seat rear. To improve the strength of the join between the seat parts, you can apply a small amount of plastic adhesive to the three pins of the seat front.
Place the seat front into place on the rest of the assembly and press the pieces together, holding them in place for a few moments. The projecting part of the frame should be inside the corresponding slot in the seat front.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a labelled bag
