BigGrin Hi All

Managed to get one of these with the fiber optic kit and mini drill. The pack is still sealed with the original plastic shrink wrap and has the free limited edition poster. I havent opened it as its going into the stash for now but this kit with the lighting set seems to be getting hard to find now. I did notice one up for auction today on flea bay but its been opened and may have parts missing .

Regards

That's a nice find Andy, I've been keeping my eye open for one for these for a while now but don't want to pay the prices that some people are charging for them.

Will be a cool build this one Cool

Hi Andy, This really is a nice kit. I built this kit when it came out around 1996 or 1997. It looks absolutely fabulous when it's assembled & you switch the lights off in a dark room. The only thing that may become a problem is the drill bit. I think you only get one drill bit & it's very fragile & can break very easily. I gave my finished model to a friend so bought myself another one recently which I will eventually build. I decided to play it safe & bought a mini drill & chuck & bought a 10 pack of drill bits which only cost about £5. I hope this helps you. Stu

BigGrin Hi Dave

Thanks for looking in and your comments I have also been looking at Babylon 5 space station but there going the silly money now hopefully a bargain might pop up.It looks a good kit and the box is full from what iv seen on flee bay looking at opened kits. If your looking for vintage kits always try to buy sealed ones as then you know its all there, beware of statements like ' I have no idea about this kit but I think its all there' its got good chance it isnt but also could be a true statement so its your own judgment here.

BigGrin Hi Stupot

Thanks for looking in and your comments. I had already decided not to use the included drill and have a suitable replacement and hopefully the correct size drills in my tools stash, if not there easy enough to buy as you say. Thanks again for the info.
