Hi Team After many hours of fear of turning the Launch to dust. I have managed to plank the launch & seperate it from the Jig now ready for painting .There are a few very small gaps between the planks, shall I just smear the outside with PVA and then paint or should I use wood filler ?The gaps are all well under .5 mm .Also what sort of paint would be best ,Acrylicor oil?Any advice would be much appreciated Cheeers Wolfskin NZ

Hi wolfskin. I used PVA and sanded so the dust went in to the joints but the gaps have to be very small for this to work. If they are to big the best bet is to use filler and then sand . For the painting I used Acrylic paint Hope this helps rgd Martyn Building ? Completed. Soliei Royal . Sovereign of the Seas . Virginia . Scotland . San Felipe .
