Ok.. stupid question....I see the FB has authentic sound at the twist of the throttle.. but in the build I see no base or speaker. So how does it work?

Ah - it might be in the oil tank....

Correct the oil tank contains the speaker and the fuel tanks has the circuit boards and battery box inside it Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Thanks Andy. I'm getting the complete kit, hopefully in time for Xmas, so I'm looking forward to tackling it. I'll try to record my progress - Mrs T has one of those mini photo studio things so that should make it easier.

Haha - thanks guys. Actually, with all the parts in one place it doesn't take that long to assemble them. It probably takes longer to unpack them! And we were spending Christmas at weekend home, and Mrs T was busy editing photos so I had all day for two days. It was great fun. If you follow the official build, it kind of snowballs at the end when everything gets finished off and the custom parts get added. It's a high quality kit and looks really good "in the metal".
Sound... it's good, but as you might expect getting a realistic Harley "throb" from a tiny speaker is challenging. The lights are really cool!
I also have a complete D51 to build; I'm saving that for a time when I have more than a couple of days. And I'm collecting the CB750.
I REALLY want the 2CV (Greyhawk I love your diaries) but it's only Germany right now I think. Hopefully that will come to UK or US.
