Afternoon Jase, Would like to ask your permission (or not as the case may be) to store your superb photo packs in a dedicated folder on my PC. That way, I don't have to keep going to my email inbox or the forum to browse through them. Thanks again for the good work Daffy09

Hi Jase! I've sent you a PM with my email address could you please sent me your great detail pack. I sent a PM on the 20/09/2010 must have got lost you've been very lucky to get in to the areas closed to the public, your guide must have seen that you really wanted those pictures. It to faraway for me to go, I can't see to far! Very short sighted. Should have called myself Blind Pew instead of Son of Bulwark. Now where’s my white cane gone. Darron

Hi Jase I must THANKS AGAIN for the effort you have put into issuing these packs with the returns and failures sending emails. I have received 9 packs and will use them at the appropriate time. This must be taking a lot of your building time sorting out who has got what, well done.

I have a lot of new requests for packs from the start i will send these out at the weekend including the latest sorry you have to wait one more day I am working on the poop deck as you read this (unless you are up at silly o'clock ) these pics are gold dust you wont find most of these on the Internet as this area is usually closed to the public! Thank you jase !! I wonder how many fire bucket will be in our kit and how to paint the crest on it. Timm My build diary hereCurrent Build:HMS Victory

To recreate the GR logo on the fire buckets scale down the photo (attached separately in your email) and print on a colour printer. Glue to pre painted bucket with thinned PVA glue. Once dry give bucket a coat of ‘Humbrol matt cote’ this will make the paper edges blend in and nobody will know you cheated!! no brush required “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

Jase you are an absolute Star, especially the pic for the fire bucket - I assume there will be one.
Keep seeing these cannons is tempting me into building a more authentic version I must say.

Poop deck detail pack out today! this will be the last pack for a while as i now move on to the rigging. i have some good picks to share but putting the plan together is going to be almost as bad as rigging the dam thing!! It is looking like i will brake the rigging down into sections around each of the masts and the bowsprit as some of the rigging span more than one mast every rope will have to be numbered so you can trace its position all 240 plus of them packs will contain birds eye and section plans. an important point is the masts i have not paid much attention to the masts other than spotting tops and spars etc the reason for this is that the current masts are steel replacements salvaged from another ship by the Victorians and as such are not fully accurate predominantly the number of bands is incorrect. anatomy of the ship states that it is the anatomy of the current ship not the original configuration thus the masts are incorrect in the book also. Finally can i say a big thanks to you all for all the kind words and positive feed back. truth is on a big project like this i always spend some time doing the research to get the job right so the only effort has been the emailing. if i have helped just some of you improve the finished model then the effort has been well worth it... try and get the rigging to you all for New Year Happy modelling Jase “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain
