Hi guys
I know this is probably a stupid question, I am just about to start layer 6 of the planking and was wondering why the rear planks have got to be tapered as i cant see a reason for this and there is no mention of why in the mag.
would be grateful for any help on this matter.

Its to stop the planking at the stern from rising too quickly
