hi Ive just read the 1st of 2 articles of that build for £600+ he's had to replace all of the planking's as the kit only supplies balsa planking as the guy who's building it says that the planking was not up to standard if it was me thinking about buying it id hold of for another month and let him finnish his build 1st Alan

got some links to his article?
i knew it comes with balsa planking if it holds to the frame its not really a big issue as i would be adding a second layer of stips brought from CWMB so i could have the choice of natural wood or painting it, with regaurds to paint havent really decided as im going to do the victory, endeavour longboat, and the cutty sark natural wood and stained.
also planking from CWMB aint actually that costly, i mean okay it builds up in price eventually but meh.
would like to see his article before commiting. so if you can provide a link i'd really appreciate it.

well one more issue for the endeavour longboat to go. if you click on the link "endeavour longboat" in my sig it'll show you the photos i put up of it.
once the longboat's final payment has gone out and that script closed im going to wait another month after that for the titanic lifeboat script to complete and close, my partners building this one.
but then with the £42 a month i can start to save for the amerigo, also trying to sell my p.a amp and cables to raise further money to buy "the beast" as i will be calling it lol.
anyway coments and pointers on the endeavour longboat would be helpful.
i will be doing a build diary of the cutty sark build as well. thats only another £42 a month for 9 months going bye bye lol and linkin park are at the o2 next month n really wanted to go see them. ah well next time maybe lol
