Nice idea Gil, I like that!! 
All it needs is a large bore hypodermic needle [blunted of course) on the end to become an 'ultra precision' grease gun? Could also be used as a cheap version of one of those commercially produced precision oilers if you put oil instead of grease in it?
A very neat idea and one I'll be using in future, thanks for that!!
