If adding extra interior lighting / maybe landing lights will the inside of the hull need to have any extra coatings to stop light bleed through ? On the WorkBench : DeAg Millennium Falcon , Deag R2-D2
To Build : various 1/72 , 1/32 WW II Military Planes

 Hi RJ You could build individual light boxes from plasticard if you have room but most people generaly apply heavy duty aluminium foil to the insides of the model surfaces to prevent light bleed. If you're going to completely paint the exterior of your Falcon, that should provide sufficient light blocking. Some people are also putting extra layers of paint on the inside of their Falcon's as well for the extra touch.

Easiest way is to just coat the inside in black and then a metallic colour like silver.

I would wait and see until after you have paineted it, you can then go back and paint any insde areas or use aluminium ducting tape.
