Awesome! Raised one more question for me though. Landing gear switch, what does that do?

That is cool they did the landing lights. Although, they're not accurate as far as scale goes. So I may be modifying those. It's nice to see placement of other items also, to see where they may interfere with other mods being done.

Absolutely. This is something that should have been shared at the beginning to promote sales. That's a lot of lighting, and even with a remote control.
myawn, what issue did that diagram come in?

That was posted in one of the Facebook groups. I believe it's from issue 57 but not completely sure as later on someone mentioned that the digital issues were online up through Issue 60.
I also wonder about the landing gear switch. Interesting times.
Also saw that there is now a 12 month subscription option being offered in the US. Thinking that if I switch to that in March I'd finish in October than than June 2017. That is getting some serious consideration. Of course I need the Paragraphix and Shapeways folks to stay ahead of me on the build so hopefully they accelerate their subscriptions first 😀

I didn't know there was such a thing.

I think it is just a test switch to make sure the ramp is working looking at the screenshots I have seen on one of the FB pages.

I am guessing, the switch, the way I see it is on the side of the model between the upper and lower hulls hidden as a greeblie. Ron Best Regards, Ron

Got issue 57 today The main switch goes on the side of the hull Test button A on the circuit board is to teat the ramp and light Test button B on the circuit board is to test lights that have not been connected yet. The landing gear switch I'm not to sure but it could be a safety switch so you don't beggar the landing gear. External power socket has a rubber cover so hopefully it will blend into the damage on the hull. Darren

Could be a safety that prevents the ramp from operating if the landing gear is not installed.

Apparently here is where the switch goes. This is the prototype from Japan I think. [img]

Hi Colson, where did you get the strip LED's from that you used under the corridors. Are they from Paragrafix?

Awesome work here! Many thanks for the fiber optic link on eBay. I will be doing that as well. I just got my email telling me that the first pack is coming my way. BTW, I found this site by watching another build and it has some outstanding 3-D printed parts of the interior Falcon that you may want to opt for. Especially the Nav Computer - they look amazing and are pre-drilled for fiber optic lighting. Good luck and I'll be keep watching. 3-D Printed Falcon Interior for Fiber Optics -dean

As detailed as those shapeways parts are, I havnt seen anyone able to paint the details of the control panels as well as the decals that come with the Photoetch set.
