Hi to all,
It’s probably not that often you see a 5 year gap between posts and it’s been that long that my old my forum account (Gordon) no longer existed so I have had to register a new one!
I won’t bore you with details but working away from home and a number of other distractions meant I have had little time for the internet however, I have been pottering away on various Partworks over the past 5 years. To bring you quickly up to speed:
Victory – I have made steady progress and the hull and masts are almost complete. I will post some pics in my original build thread shortly; just need to remind myself how to do it!
HMS Hood – Although I had commenced the Victory, I was keen to build the Hood which would complement my Bismarck model so the Victory got shelved for a couple of years whilst I concentrated on the Hood. It is now complete (well almost!) and I can post some pics in the ‘other builds’ section, if anyone is interested in seeing it.
Yamato – I purchased this partwork a couple of years ago and it’s still in the cupboard. Possibly my next project.
Captain Cooks Endeavour – All issues collected and in the cupboard ready for some motivation.
Titanic – Bought the complete collection from ebay and got the hull about 80% complete however, I wasn’t impressed with the partwork, or my efforts, so the entire partwork went in the bin!
I have been enjoying catching up with some of the builds and hopefully will try and post some regular updates going forward.
Gordon..

Hi Gordon, Welcome I wasn't around 5 years ago either, but would be very interested in your Hood and Bismark as I'very recently purchased a part built Bismark which needs a bit of rework and a complete untouched Hood. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Regards delboy271155 (Derek) Hi Delboy, I thoroughly enjoyed both partworks however, the Hood got a bit frustrating towards the end. I will post some pics of the Hood Gordon.
