No Worries! I was thinking, how many of you will actually be riding your RB7? Why i ask is have you noticed the ground clearance on it? Here in my area there is not really a race track, only roads we have is full of potholes! Don't think there is a way to increase the ground clearance!!! My RB7 will just be left on the shelf, i will rather play with my HPI buggy! If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.

Same story here, do not really have place at home to ride it on the farm (dirt roads). Myself and AndreZS1AZ will have to go race in the mall parking lot after work

Yeah I love the nitro too, just a lot of effort in terms of keeping the motor running etc. Electric is a lot easier.
But I still want to see that RB7 at full chap, because it seems it is only one gear, where my hpi savage 25 had a gearbox with 3 gears.

Jip it only has one gear, additional issues gives you a second gear. True that about the nitro issues, i have issues starting my HPI trophy. Dont know anymore, only way I am going to start it is pour nitro over it and set it alight! If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.

You guys so busy with the build you not on the forum? I connected all wiring and battery pack to mine, all servos are ready to go!  If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.

I've been waiting for issues 53-56 for just over 3 weeks now. It seems all is back to postal perhaps  ? And they give the same old rhyme of 14-21 days. If a courier takes that long I'd rather be using the post office

Surely using the same courier company as all these magazines comes from jacklin. If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.

Not too busy building, just waiting for parts. I got 75-78 on Thursday via courier. I have not put the parts together yet as I am busy finishing off the hydroplane and have been down to the Breede river for the weekend and just got back. Trying to motivate myself so that I can motivate the guys in the workshop tomorrow  It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

This is a once off picture of the hydroplane to wet your appetites. Just some odds and ends to do and then then stickers. This was a scratch build, in other words, no plans etc. If all calculations are correct, 100kph+. Thanks MrT for not bumping me. I hope. Some very skillful work has gone into this one. I have seen some of these in use on a tv programme and its beyond me how you can ever control them at the speed they go its amazing. Hope all your calculations payoff and it performs as you have planned. Happy Modelling

Have now just got issues 79-82 via courier. I suppose that I will carry on building over the weekend and post some pictures. This will be after I have run the hydroplane for the first time so I will be a busy boy. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

It seems that with the parts that I have, I will be able to run the car. I will put all the recent parts together and then get together with someone that I know and mix a batch of fuel. I will be waiting for the shock extensions coming in issue 85 so that I can lift the nose a bit. I am very disappointed about the amount of play on the suspension and steering bits. With the amount of money that we are spending I would have expected tighter tolerances. Oh well, let's see what Monday brings when I try and run it. The shocks extensions made a big difference looks almost too high now. Can't wait for the last 5 issues.

I have being missing in action awhile, the newborn baby arrived. I tried to start it the oneday and the cord got lose and went into the pull starter, got gatvol and left it since. All my issues since than have being collection dust, will clean it soon and start building again. Hows the build going for you all? I plasti-dipped my display body matt black, looks nice just want to put all the decals on. I will post a photo when its done. If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.
