Oh dear - hope you are not going to have problems getting your parts. Sometimes though it can be the wholesalers that are late supplying the shops so fingers crossed for you it gets sorted. Happy Modelling

Oh, it's definitely the wholesaler. My news agent is already tearing him a new one. I didn't even know she could be this furious.

Nah, this is the first one I get at the agent instead of taking a subscription.

Great news, guys! My news agent came through for me and I've got issue 5. This time we "only" receive the center piece of the whole build, the aluminium skeleton upon which all other parts are placed. No actual building this time, only painting, but you saw that above.

This part is actually pretty light. The zinc die cast parts that make up the outer hull will add a looot of weight though.

With a bit of a delay on to issue 6. This time around the distributor forgot to post a parcel to my news agent. The parcel containing partworks. All partworks. Needless to say my news agent was kinda furious. We receive a battery holder, first motor, a testing board for LEDs and motors and the first air intake with screws. The air intake is put aside until next week, this is another "buildless" week where instead we test the electronics delivered so far. Testing of the instrument panel lighting and motor goes without any hitch. The motor is astonishingly quiet, in fact I had to add a little flag made of masking tape to the axle to confirm it is actually running. These are quality parts. I like. Pictured of instrument panel lighting follow, as soon as it is a bit darker around and one can actually see things in a photo.

Yes, there will be engine sounds as well as gun and missile sounds. I'm also planning to find a way to have the thing play either the Top Gun Anthem or "Danger Zone".
