 Hi All I have been browsing for a good while now looking for a good bust/figure to enhance my DeAG Samurai Armour and came across this one at around 110 mm tall. The bust consists of three parts the main casting the helmet lobster plate back and a cast white metal crest, also included is a brief history of Date himself including the fact that he was blind in one eye from the age of 5 due to smallpox this also explains his nickname of the 'One Eyed Dragon'. To make a pleasant change also there is a good painting description/guide with the kit so no reliance as usual on the single colour picture on the box as your only painting reference. Hi All Well here he is. Started off cleaning the casting marks off then covered the bust with a base coat of Zero paints white undercoat, this was then left for a week to properly harden off. The paints are all various Vallejo colors from several of the sets I have.
