Looking great Nem! How many ruddy straps do they have on those seats! And I thought my Spitfire harnesses were complicated! Robin. Nice work on the bang seat Daran, a lot of belts and buckles to paint, as has been said already!!
The detail should really pop once you add the washes and dry brushing and I'm looking forward to seeing the end result my friend? I know it's probably a bit late now as you've almost finished painting the seat but you might find the following link helpful?

Hello Trev, thank you for your comment, I am pleased with how the painting turned out although it did strain the old mince pies a bit! Hi Kev, thanks for looking in, I had seen that site plus one or two others so I came up with the best bits of all of them!!

All the cockpit parts have been sealed with Klear and the first wash has been done. Belts need toning down, but that should be good with some dry brushing.

Cracking job Daran, the washes are really bringing the detail out now and for someone who isn't used to modelling aircraft, I think you've made a good job of that, well done!!
Love the way you've rendered that radar screen Daran, looks perfect to me and just as you would expect a radar screen of 1960's vintage to look - awesome my friend, keep it up and this'll be a stunner when it's finished!!

Very nice indeed. Its surprising just how many colours you need in this particular cockpit. Hope the rest of the build goes well. Happy Modelling

Well I managed to get the cockpit tub ready to be fitted in the fuselage. There era few details still to add, but they are really delicate and will be added when the build is complete so as not to knock the while handling!
