Hi All!

A new 1/144 submarine model of IJN I-400 (伊-400) is now on sale in Japan.

Woody Joe Corp has launched this new product. This corporation also provides DeAGOSTINI 1/250 YAMATO.

Same scale SEIRAN (晴嵐) is under development now.

I have actually been looking forward to this kit coming out. Ever since I discovered that this ship existed I have been fascinated by it. May have to pick this up at some point. Though if DeAg were to make a version I would go with that one.

Thank you for your comments on my post.

I asked to Woody Joe's information about exportation service.

The staff replied
- They do not export the I-400 model directly now.
- The assembling instruction is written in Japanese only.
- On the other hand, they are now in process of translation it into English.
- There are a lot of foreign persons who have contacted Woody Joe about the I-400 model since launching.
