Novice modellers may find this useful if they haven't used Microsol or Microset decal fluids before..... http://incunabulum.co.uk...icroset/comment-page-1/

Great article.Dont forget to test the setting solutions on some decals first.Sometimes they will destroy decals, especaily if they are very thin.Secondly (especially microsol) can react with some paints so either do a clear coat if you are nut sure or test the solution on a paint sample first.
Finally do not try to move the decal once you have applied microsol-It will tear if you try to move it.

I was trying for ages to find a bottle of Kleer for my Scramble diorama - can't find it anywhere in the Plymouth area, ended up having to use Humbrol's Clear Gloss Varnish, much the same but a lot more expensive !! Robin First wooden ship: The Grimsby 12 Gun 'Frigate' by Constructo Second: Bounty DelPrado Part Works Third: HMS Victory DelPrado Part Works 1/100 scale Diorama of the Battle of the Brandywine from the American Revolutionary War Diorama of the Battle of New Falkland (unfinished sci-fi), Great War Centenary Diorama of the Messines Ridge Assault Index for the Victory diary is on page 1
