Great article.Dont forget to test the setting solutions on some decals first.Sometimes they will destroy decals,especaily if they are very thin.Secondly (especially microsol) can react with some paints so either do a clear coat if you are nut sure or test the solution on a paint sample first.

Finally do not try to move the decal once you have applied microsol-It will tear if you try to move it.

where in the uk can you get johnsons klear ? everytime i look on various sites comes up with pledge klear is this similarConfused cheer`s Phil

I was trying for ages to find a bottle of Kleer for my Scramble diorama - can't find it anywhere in the Plymouth area, ended up having to use Humbrol's Clear Gloss Varnish, much the same but a lot more expensive !!Cursing

Klear is no longer available, its now known as pledge. The odd bottle pops up on flea bay but its fetching 50+ pounds a bottle!!!
