I have seen these intake scoops in a few photos and was wondering what the story was with them. Were they only ran with certain setups at certain tracks? also, does anyone know if they are sold anywhere? jldallover attached the following image(s):

Turbo scoops were only in place for certain races such as the British Grand Prix.
The MP4/4 model replicates the version raced at the 1988 Suzuka Japanese Grand Prix, where Senna won his firest F1 championship - without scoops.
You would need to scrach-build the scoops.

Wouldn't the turbo scoops be attached under the body so to speak? On the 99t the scoops are attached directly to the turbo so holes have to be placed on the body. Building the MP4/4!
