I was pleased to find this early Mclaren for my collection and although it's a strange scale and with very little detail under the hood I've enjoyed building it. Also learnt a couple of things along the way such as polishing paint work, proper bending of PE parts and how to make mesh domes for the intakes!! ( thanks to kev for the suggestion). Malc. Very nice indeed Malc, you've certainly brought that a long way from the 'gimmicky' almost toy like kit that you started with!? Some great mods have been included on this one my friend and great that you have learnt some new skills along the way - very well done!!
