Hi all just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm currently collecting the shelby kit and have been into the model building since I was a kid. From planes, ships, cars and trucks I enjoy them all. I've done the plastic kits, matchstick models from scratch and various others. I'm not usually the active forum type of person but I do enjoy looking at the progress of others and of course learning the all important hints and tips shared by others. Anyway as said I've been collecting the shelby model and have yet to touch it as I was going to wait until I have the complete kit and then proceed at my own pace. Having other models on the go this has just about been achievable so far but I've been looking at other members builds and this has inspired me to make a start but to also do my first build diary. Looking through the other shelby builds I see some have slightly modified their model with a dab of paint here and there and I must say they look fantastic further enhancing already detailed parts. In light of this I have decided to keep mine completely original. This will hopefully help those of you who are unsure of changing things or going for the original look have a comparison as the different builds go and the completed overall look. After all I'm happy to dismantle mine and change things at a later date. Anyway I will start the build diary very soon and look forward to your feedback.
