Maybe the reason for Admin becoming more of a customer service is because customer services are useless and the only way anybody gets any satisfaction is by going through admin, maybe a reasonably sized foot should be aimed at their collective backsides and maybe just maybe customer services will get their act together because at the minute they just tell us they are going to sort out the problem but never actually do it, unfortunatly de-agostina is not the only company that think customer service is a thing of the past

My impression is that customer services are not the problem. They have always attempted to be helpful and have sometines phoned me unsolicited, to see if I have had a solution.

No, I think the problem is in the system and/or the warehouse. Case in point, I had only received 1 of the 2 drill bits with the tool box. Admin here repeatedly made requests but nothing was sent (I don't believe the 'lost in the post' excuse). Finally I received a package, a new Archimedean drill!!!

I also believe it is the warehouse that takes up to 28 days to process orders and not the vagaries of the postal serve.

maybe they should adopt the mcdonalds order system.
you place an order either at drive through or till.
then the ordr shows up on a screen in the kitchen.
the kitchen staff then see this order on the screen and put it together and get it out.

its a simple yet effective system.

if the warehouse is split into various sections, i.e deag shop items in one area.
subscriptions in anotherwith thier own little sub area, victory in another area and "free gifts" in another. and have one or two people checking a master screen to see what orders have been put together and sent out and directing staff to the relevant areas as not all areas would be in use by staff at all times.

im not a computer programmer but a freind of mine is and writes programs like this all the time. it doesnt cost alot and is probably more effective that what ever prehistoric system they seem to have at the moment.
