The front part needs to be removed while you are installing the shell, then you should add it again after sliding the shell on from the back. Anyone know a good easy way to get the tape off cleanly each time. No idea why the instructions said to attach the front part only to remove it and make a mess in the last stage. Seems a bit of a design flaw they you need to untape it to remove the shell each time. Finished 3D Printer, RB7, Hummer, Skyrider drone & Combat tank collection http://www.model-space.com/gb/

You need to use a solvent cleaner to remove the tape residue, but first test on an unseen area as some solvent cleaners may attack the PVC plastic.
You could consider using ultra thin velcro tape instead of double-sided.

Tom you are a genius, I have loads of those velcro strips laying around. I will clean off the residue and give it a go. Thanks, Shane Finished 3D Printer, RB7, Hummer, Skyrider drone & Combat tank collection http://www.model-space.com/gb/

Battery is taking forever to balance though. Finished 3D Printer, RB7, Hummer, Skyrider drone & Combat tank collection http://www.model-space.com/gb/

Thanks Tom, that's good then. I have never had a LIPO battery that large before so was not sure what to expect. Finished 3D Printer, RB7, Hummer, Skyrider drone & Combat tank collection http://www.model-space.com/gb/

Never leave it unattended during charging and carefully follow all of the LiPo info provided in the magazine., not to be alarmist but LiPo's can burst into flames or explode if handled incorrectly

I already had an additional LIPO sack ready just for the battery and charge it in the conservatory away from everything. I routinely check to see if its got hot or expanded at all while its charging.
