ive only collected half the issues yet so not started the build - but ive noticed the coal and display ballast looks very " plasticky" - any thoughts on this - as i think i will be looking for more realistic alternatives

if i can get them to post - this is a 1/32 minicraft model of trevithicks loco - again ive changed the coal and ballast

Nice model indeed.

I have always fancied getting the academy version but in the end went for the old Airfix version.

Good advice on the coal so "G" scale it is then BigGrin

I have already got g scale coal for my d51 but was hoping that somebody may be able to suggests where to buy ballast or aggregate for between the sleepers. Any thoughts as i think it is something I would like to have in the pile at the start of the build?.
