Here is a feature from the Portsmouth News that may be of interest to members of the forum.

http://www.portsmouth.co...S-Victory-is.6582669.jp

This is my first attempt at making a contribution to the forum although I have been an avid reader for the last few months. I have not started the model yet but have saved up all 22 issues. Its a bit like walking along the waterline on a cold day and being afraid to put your toes in the water.

Having just retired this is my retirement project but decided to do the Heller model first to practice.

So far I have to admit that DAG's activity has all been positive. All issues have arrived on time. Maybe that's because I haven't started yet!!!
Please carry on with the good work I thoroughly enjoy the build's I have so far seen and also learned a lot about the Victory, more than living in Portsmouth for 40 years.

I will need to visit the Dock yard soon and take some photographs and video.

Best wishes
Geoff

Welcome and thank you for the link...like you this is a retirement project for me again have no problems with De Ag...advice from others has been invaluable the online instructions from Mr T are first class...I turn on my internal filter with the posts and the more negative stuff ceases to annoy me ...good luck with your build.

Welcome Olivergwo,

I haven't completed much of the build myself yet, like to keep a bit behind so I can see the pitfalls before I hit them and take note of the fantastic advice given on here.

Happy building!
