BigGrin Hi All

This has been in the stash for a while now along with the Meng Merkava this kit is from the Korean Legend Group who generally supply the add on's for kits like the baggage sets and upgrades in resin. This is a well researched kit by M.Mass and is highly accurate.

The Kit comes in a sturdy box that when opened reveals mountains of bubble wrap with the instructions on top, the kit came from China and was packed very well so no damage on arrival due to weighty resin bouncing about in the box. The instructions for a resin kit are outstanding although only 2 sheets of A4 there in full color.

The parts are in a Legends standard cream resin starting with the one piece turret with a high amount of detail on it from the mould, next is the upper hull again highly detailed. The next large part is the hull bottom quite plain compared to the upper hull and turret.

Four bags are next holding parts for the hull and side armour and bags of wheels and tracks. Lastly two bags holding etch parts, wire, rope chain and metal balls to make the distinctive anti RPG chains that hang off the rear of the Merkava turret.

A well cast and detailed kit that will build into a fine example of this tank.

Regards

BigGrin Hi Nem

Thanks for your comments and looking in the hardest part to replicate will be the antislip surfaces on the upper tank body but I have solved that one I think.

Andy

that looks one very nice kit indeed.

Always had a liking for the Merkava. The only one I made was a very early offering from Tamiya. Its an interesting vehicle with its small infantry carrying compartment.

Hope you enjoy building this one.
Happy Modelling
